Not one of my best purchases

I loved this entire collection and I was counting down the days until it arrived in the MAC store. I have been now using it on and off for a few months. I was looking for a highlighter that would make my cheekbones GLOW. This is not the product. I am so jealous of people in pictures that look illuminated.... highlighted. I have yet to find anything that brings out a "natural" (haha) glow. I didnt return the highlighter because I always end up liking the product down the road. I havent as of yet. I am hoping that when I am tan (over the summer) that it will be better then. I did purchase a few things from this collection and I have to say that nothing was GREAT.

Great Product

I love love love this product. I either use it in the corners of my eye (teardrop) and then put a white or shimmer powder on top... or I use it as a base on my eyelids to put other colors on top to make the pigments POP. I have only purchased Milk so far... but I do think that I will be trying out some other colors.

Eh....

I was super excited about this product. I was stalking all the stores around my way waiting for this product to come out (it was late coming out... of course). When I finally bought this polish I ran home to try it out. (I also bought the entire Katy Perry collection). I was so disappointed. It was extremely hard to apply!!! It's also a very thick polish. I love the look you get when its finally on and DONE... but this is so not my go to product.

I wore it for about 2 weeks (trying out all the different colors under) and havent touched it since. I originally thought that it was hard to apply over a glitter polish, so the next time I used a regular color under it.... but I still had problems. It almost felt like it skipped over your nails. Sorry if Im confusing anyone with this review.

Quick and Easy

I hate when my hair wrap slips from my hair. I am constantly taking my hair down and putting it back up. I know if its bothering me, it must bother other people too. I found these Spin Pins made by Goody last summer and they are amazing. Once you put them in, they will stay in all day. Your hair will not slip from them. Now your hair does have to go in a "bun-type" look but you can make it a "messy bun", so you dont look so library school teacher (no offense to anyone...we all know teachers and librarians are every mans fantasy, haha). These spin pins are not hard to use!!!

Depending on where you buy them at, the price ranges anywhere from $6.00 to $9.00 (on average). You can get blonde or brunette. I dont think it came in any other color, but dont quote me on that. I just personally havent seen them in any other colors.

I wanted to give you an idea of what you can do with the spin pins. I am putting up 3 pictures on my blog (<a class='textlink' href='http://rachaelsbeautyblog.blogspot.com/' rel='nofollow noopener' target='_blank'>http://rachaelsbeautyblog.blogspot....</a>). On here I will post just one of the pictures.

Great Buy!

I bought this for contouring and highlighting and I think its one of the best purchases I have made to date. I use this everyday (the dark brown and white color). I see the difference in my makeup and the structure of my face. Everyone can use this palette!!! If you are new at contouring and dont know what color to buy.... BUY THIS!!!

Fabulous Color

There wasnt an option to pick the color "Pinched", but that is the color that I am giving 5 stars too. I think that this color will look great on all skin tones. I bought this because I thought it looked so close to NARS Orgasm, and I think that it is the closest dupe I have found yet. It's also very pigmented. I will def be buying this color again and again!

Such a great foundation

I normally either airbrush (Dinair) or when I am in a total rush I just put on tinted moisturizer. I havent been to big on foundations recently because of those 2 options that I already have in my routine. But I wanted to have a foundation in my collection "just to have". I was in NY and stopped at the Makeup Forever store to pickup my concealer and decided to try this foundation.

It goes on so smooth and soft. Plus, you barely feel like you have anything on your skin at all. I have sensitive skin and I normally worry about products, but this did not give me any problems. It was light on my skin, but gave me full coverage at the same time. You can layer to give this foundation a thicker look if you like, but in my opinion... it is not needed. I just apply this and some powder on top to set it and Im good to go all day. It is a little on the pricey side but I do think it is worth it.

Super Pigmented

I bought this product at IMATS NY. I only bought neutrals and I am kicking myself for it. I actually wanted to get the bright colors but I wanted to walk around IMATS and see what other companies were offering before I spent ALL my money at inglot. Well... by the time I got back around to Inglot the line was way to long. Anyway... back to the shadow.

It is super pigmented. ALL you have to do it tap the color and you have crazy color on your brush. If you are considering purchasing Inglot I would say do it. The eye shadows are so much better then anything around this price range that I have tried yet. SOOOOO MUCH BETTER THEN MAC, plus you get more powder in this then what MAC gives you.

Best kept secret

I have been using this gloss for years!!! It is not sticky and smells/tastes yummy. I have used a few of the nude/light brown tones. I love them all. I have no complaints. The ones that I have purchased are more on the sheer side and that is the way that I wanted it. I have so many of these all over the place. I have one in my car... I always find one in a random purse that I am switching into... one in my makeup bag... and one in my vanity. They are inexpensive and so worth every penny. I used to pick one up every few months. Everyone should go out to the drugstore and try this out!!! It is a must for your makeup bag. I always put this on top of my lipstick or just wear it alone.

Horrible

If I could give this a 1/2 of a start... I would. I bought this over the internet b/c I havent had anytime to run to the mall. I was so excited when it came. I saw Lady Gaga on TV and she said that it will look great on ANY and ALL skin tones. When I put it on, I looked dead. It is creamy, but it showed every crease on my lips. I have been in search of the perfect nude lipstick for over 2 years. This is by far the worst one I have tried yet. My friend tried it on (who is 1/2 spanish, 1/2 black) and it looked much better on her... actually it looked fantastic on her. In my opinion... if you have lighter skin like me, this is not the lipstick for you. The gloss is exactly the same color... so that being said, that looked horrid on me as well. I am going to be returning it today and hopefully I will find a good tone for my lips soon.
