Beauty Product Reviews
Perfect Powder
This product is great. I use it as a foundation or as a setting powder with my liquid/cream foundations. It goes on soft and has a wonderfully smooth finish. I don't like the packaging of this product, it always chips my nail polish when I try to open it. The mirror is a decent size. The puff comes in handing on the go but if I'm at home I'll use a powder brush.
Better for Body
This is a crazy shimmery shimmer. I found this in a set at TJMaxx. I thought it was just a translucent powder until I swatched it on my hand. I couldn't imagine having that much shimmer on my face, at least not all over. Could work wonderfully over lipsticks (I'm not sure it its lipsafe or not) or eye shadows. Blended out it might not be too bad over the entire face.
Took awhile to get use to
This was my first experience with cream blushes. I hated it! I picked it up again a few months later after I understood how to manipulate cream blushes and its a really pretty shade. the color is soft but pigmented. Once it's on the skin it feels smooth like a powder and blends very easily.
Not for dark complexions
Not a fan of this product. It has a weird medicine smell. The formula is smooth, but it left my skin dry. I actually had the shade Deep, but there isn't a shade that is close enough to my complexion. I took a picture of the cream on my skin after I smoothed it out, and I left a bit unblended for comparison.
Not the shade for me
The colors are not very pigmented and took awhile to build up. If I'm going for a more subtle natural look, this might be perfect. The pink color is a pale shade that is almost nonexistant on my skin. The blush is a golden shade that reminds me more of a bronzer. The highlight is bright. Compared to the contour color the highlight shows up immediately. The powder is smooth and not cakey. The mirror it comes with is small but works. I didn't try to use the brush that came with it.
Messy but effective
What else can be said about this product!? Its inexpensive and works great. Be careful of flash photography. This product glides on smooth and blends out perfectly. It can get a little messy. I tried to poke holes in the top but they weren't big enough for the product to get through. I do use the little puff that comes with it. Sometimes I apply with a powder brush.
Messy but effective.
This powder is soft and very fine. I have the Warm Beige shade and it blends in well. A little goes a long way. I can make me look a bit ashy and dull. It has a light floral scent which could come from the rice. The packaging is messy. I keep the sticker seal on to try to help. I enjoy using this powder to set my highlights.
I Found MY Red!
I love this shade so much! I tried the sample size from Sephora first and had to get the fullsized! The color is beautiful. The textures goes on smooth and once set it hardly budges. It is long lasting and you won't need more than one coat. It took me a moment to get the color to work because I had never used a liquid to matte formula before. You must have clean dry lips and you don't press your lips together until it has dried completely. After it was dry I do feel a slight tackiness if I press my lips together but it's not uncomfortable.
