Unlike other oils

Unlike other oils this is made specifically for Medium and Coarse hair types only, that's not to say if you have fine hair you can't try it.. but it's targeted for medium to coarse. I have fine hair and I use this. You just have to know how to use it. One of the things i really hate about this product has nothing to do with the product it'self, moreso the packaging. As chic and expensive as it is and looks...one default I find with is is the packaging.. there are NO directions about this product on it. So if you're new to this...and you don't save the box for the instructions...you're gonna be all about the trail and error of this. The directions are only on the box. other then the name of the product the bottle has NOTHING on it. So if you're just out willy nilly like trying something new because it sounds awesome and you're not having someone help you figure out how to use this, you may hate it lol.

Reason is.. this is 100% oil. It is literally one of the only oils i've come across like this. It's actual oil! concentrated oil. It's nothing like most oils on the market which explains why it's $40.00. Most oils that I've experience on the market are basically hair serum oils. They are 100% absorbed into your hair, leaving little to no traces of itself behind. This however is concentrated oil(i can't say that enough). In fact redken videos on how to use this product properly warn you that you should only use at the most 2 drops of oil for almost all hair types. More then that and the oil will 1) make your hair look wet) and 2) weigh it down). You can use this much like the argan 6 oil from redken which has upto 6 uses. This one you can use in all the same ways..but also as a dry body oil for when you're getting out of the shower. But even as an additive to your conditioner to make it a deep conditioner...no more then 2 drops. This stuff is awesome, you see beautiful results with tons of shine and it has a nice smell, not perfumey, but more men's cologne like. Clients love this, and one bottle is going to last you years..(assuming you're only using 1-2 drops at a time). Pretty worth the money. But again.. just be careful that you don't use too much(less is definitely more with this!) and you read the box carefully before you toss it. The Gold bottle is for medium hair types, the black bottle is the "intense" for coarse hair types.

RICH

This shampoo and conditioner are very rich...if you're an oily haired girl you may not love this. While it is hydrating, and it does maintain your color...I find it's a little too heavy and rich for my hair which is baby fine hair(but not thin).. When I use this I have to wash my hair without fail EVERYDAY. even with a dry shampoo I still don't LOVE LOVE this. However, if I have a client with dry hair...or "aged" hair that gets colored, this works well. It's just a little too moisturizing for my hair. But it does a good job, smells good and lasts a long time.

VOLUME!

I use this on clients when we want to achieve some good volume that lasts! This really does help people with no volume achieve that. It's a really all around great product, it lasts, a little goes a long way, and everyone we use this on in our salon loves it. I would say it's one of redkens best sellers, we sell out of it all the time. You can target this too the roots based on the fact that the spray nozzle allows you to narrow down where you'd like to target, or you can use it all over. It has a great hold if you're trying to have a style that lasts a couple days, this is your go to guy.

worth it for everyone with any hairtype

if you blow dry your hair you need this. It's virtually weightless, it protects your hair, it's not going to leave a film on your hair, it's light weight in the actual product and on your hair. A little goes a long way so this product will last your a good amount of time, it has a nice slip to it. I really love using this on clients. And no one has complained about it, or said they didn't like it.

Versatile

This is an awesome product because of how versatile it is.. it has a multitude of different ways to use it.. 1)pre cleansing treatment 2)add to your conditioner 3)blow dry protectant 4)smoothing and shine 5)overnight treatment 6) mix with other products.

My hair is very hard to handle when it's wet due to the fact a fair chunk of my hair has been lightened. When I mix a couple pumps of this with some anti-snap from redken, it's awesome, it makes my hair soft, it's easier to comb, and blow dry.. it's a really nice versatile product because it's really an all in one product, the other nice thing about it...is that it doesn't leave you with an oily residue on top of your hair, this literally sinks into your hair. Overall i'd say this is well worth the price, you're gonna use it a ton of different ways, and you'll basically never get bored with it. it's not just a one note kinda thing. Don't be afraid to play with it. Works with EVERY hair type.

This conditioner is so nice! your hair is just left feeling silky, soft, it smells good, it feels just much more manageable, it looks MUCH less dry, my hair stays feeling and looking hydrated longer in between washings. It's very hard with hair that has been lightened unless you glaze it, to have manageable hair thats easy to comb, etc. For myself thats a big deal... how well a conditioner allows me to manage my hair while it's wet. I give this an A, LOVE it.

Honestly I stopped using some bedhead stuff because i was pretty unimpressed with the line "bed head", however on a whim i decided to start trying some new products and picked this up. This shampoo is awesome. I can literally feel my hair detangling, i could actually run my hands through my hair after using just the shampoo, it feels awesome, my hair smells great, it feels clean and detangled, LOVE IT! VERY glad I took a chance with this. I do NOT regret it.

worth it for everyone

I work at a salon that was doing a Living Proof event, where for 3 fridays we did free blowdries for anyone who wanted to come in and have a blowout done using the frizz line from Living Proof. We had everyone from super straight natural hair, to the curliest hair. Without fail it rained everyday we had this event going on and it was humid lol (go figure). We used these and they were amazing...not only is your hair left in awesome condition, but it already feels detangled..it smells great.. it's sulfate free so it's great for ANYONE who has curly hair or color treated hair,etc.. it has no sillicones so if you're an oily haired gal you wont get oily as quickly using these products because it's not gonna be weighing your hair down with those silicones, which also means you are still left with some beautiful movement. and it's paraben free! I have naturally bone straight hair, with no frizz, and this stuff feels AWESOME in my hair, anyone can use it and have wonderful results. The travel size box they have for sale has the shampoo, conditioner and styling cream in them and are 2oz. each, WELL WORTH IT. a little goes a long way with this product. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
