OH GOD IT'S EVERYWHERE!!
I can't say this is a terrible eyeliner, but I can't say that I won't buy this again either. I have this eyeliner in black and one thing that bugs me terribly about this is that the brush holds onto a bit too much product. The first time I used this, it ended up EVERYWHERE. It bled down onto my eye, then when I tried to wipe it away... oh god, the MESS!!! You definitely have to wipe the brush off before you use it or else it has WAY too much product on it. The second thing that I didn't like was that it takes a while to dry. It's come to the point that I actually hate applying it to the inner 1/3 of my upper lid because I'm scared it'll start running into my eye again.
But if neither of those things seems like a con to you, then you might actually really love this liner. It doesn't flake or fade or make a mess once it's dry. It's actually pretty nice! It's not waterproof though (it doesn't say that it is either so I can't call that a flaw), but it really can hold up for hours and hours as long as you're not getting into a water fight or something. The black is super dark, super opaque, and is perfect for creating a winged eyeliner.
Not baaaaad!
I think I get my expectations up too much for products that I read good reviews over. I thought these were practically going to replace my lip balm FOREVER. Not quite, but definitely not bad. They are pretty moisturizing for a lipstick and the coverage varies from color to color. For me, I definitely need a lip liner for these guys because they sure do wander around. The first time I wore one, I checked myself in mirror a few hours in and it looked like I'd been eating it. I was a super smudge face, so since then I've always worn them with a lip liner. Honestly, it's not a bad thing because it opens up the door for me to use some of the lighter colors. Creamsicle + MAC's Cork lip liner makes the most GORGEOUS nude lip that's super brown girl friendly.
PERFECT
I'm so in love with these brushes. They've really changed my opinion on synthetic haired brushes in general. They're so unbelievably soft and dense. The foundation brush is a bit on the small side so I tend to use it as a concealer brush under my eyes but I love how firm it is! Perfect for those dense cream foundations and concealers. The detailer brush is SUPER tiny, so I use it to blend out lip liner or do detailed work on my lips. The buffing brush is so amazing, I'd buy the kit over and over again just to get it. I use it to buff out my foundation to get rid of any streaks or harsh lines. And the contouring brush??? FLAWLESS!! The hairs are just long enough to apply contour powder lightly, and short enough to buff it in if it needs blending. LOVE!!
Super pretty
I have just about a million of these loose eyeshadows and I'm absolutely obsessed! I love that they have a few shades of red (which are kind of hard to come across sometimes) and the shimmer/sparkle is out of this WORLD. Though they ARE really vibrant, they're not always super opaque and sometimes they have a little trouble sticking to the skin without a primer. These are absolutely gorgeous with a cream eyeshadow underneath, and so inexpensive!!!
i...LOVE...this
I'm absolutely obsessed with this primer and I know I'm gonna need a million back ups. I have really dry skin so my problem generally isn't that my eyeshadow creases, but it fades instead. I tend to have a huge problem getting my brow pencils to stay and not smudge and fade by the end of the day, so I tried UDPP first, and it came off SUPER ashy, so I reached for this. This goes on completely and truly clear, keeps my brows in place, and keeps my pencil on too. As it's drying it does feel a bit sticky, but I don't have a problem with that, and when I went to put this on under my eyeshadow, everything stayed BEAUTIFULLY. Definitely my HG eye primer for everything from now on.
Not terrible, so I'll finish off the bottle
It does an okay job of keeping my nail polishes on and protecting my nails from getting stained, but I feel like it's really lacking in the shine department. I personally really like a glassy, glossy finish to my nails and this really doesn't provide that.
I didn't know I could love a nail polish so much
This is truly one of those products that epitomizes what high quality is. I never really thought too much about nail polishes before this and I considered them all pretty similar. CND DEFINITELY stands out in the crowd though. I'm probably one of the roughest people on my nails and have never found anything that would last more that 2 or 3 days without chipping. I tried this on with no base coat and no top coat, and I didn't have a single chip after a week.
As far as the formula goes, it's a bit thick, but SOOO creamy. You really don't need more than one coat for these. I got a perfectly opaque layer after one application, it leveled itself out SO well that I didn't have to keep going over it to cover any streaky spots, and the brush layer everything down FLAWLESSLY. I do wish there were even more shades than they have now, but I'm in no rush because I've seen too many companies that rush to put out more product and end up sacrificing quality. Overall, this is absolutely amazing and I'll probably have to track down every single shade there is because I'm so addicted.
Great hold and no flakes
This is my go-to product when I'm doing anything with a slicked back look, especially ponytails. It does give a bit of shine, but nothing that screams "grease ball." You do have to brush it in a bit because the product is a light color and it'll leave streaks in your hair. But my FAVORITE part about this product is that once it dries up, it doesn't leave my hair feeling horrible. Not sticky, not greasy, not filmy, just soft. LOVE LOVE LOVE this.
Can't go wrong with It's a 10
I really love this product, it does great work at hydrating my hair. I really like this because it doesn't have protein in it which means it's AMAZING to use after a protein treatment (you don't want another product with protein because it'll make your hair hard and stiff). Every 4 weeks or so I'll do a protein treatment and follow it up with this conditioner and I die every time. My hair is so soft and strong and thick afterwards. And since I don't wash my hair every day I'll use this maybe once a week or so as a moisture treatment and it's amazing.
