No green or olive
Disappointed as this does not show up any green or olive tones. Just looks like beige on the lips. I am a medium tan with neutral undertone.
Not like anything you have seen before.
The brushes are denser than other brushes so I find it gives me very clean results. The blenders are already smooth and soft but these denser brushes will "bloom" and get softer and bushier. Outstanding quality and craftsmanship. Sonia G has earned the right to use authenticity stickers (by the Japanese Craftsman) now, so I was delighted to see those on the packaging. Delightful, down to earth woman, I wish her every success and hope she continues designing brushes, that I will inevitably keep buying.
It is like Christmas when you were a child.
I did a review when I first got it - this is the update. In the UK we do not have Thanksgiving we only have Christmas. It is the biggest gift-giving day of the year. We would run stumble downstairs and start ripping off the paper and shrieks of delight. Lots of sparkle, light and warmth. That is what this palette feels like. If I am a bit down I can sit and play with this for hours. It makes me happy - It will make you happy too
Simply the Best
I own all Natasha Denona palettes but this one is extradinary. Best palette I have ever seen. I leap out of bed looking forward to trying new colours every day . It is exceptionally good. Worth every penny. Just buy it you will not regret it.
Utterly Gorgeous
These are the best mattes I have ever used. The colour choice is nothing like anything on the market. They are placed so that you can make a look with colours vertically, horizontally, and any quad next to each other. That is genius in itself. I will be using this for the next year, day and evening. Looking forward to the Gold Holiday Palette
Exquisite
It is everything you think it will be. I have medium tan skin and have been searching for a true yellow to show up on my skin and finally, I have it. Do use the Natasha Denona eye primer it is beautiful. The best warm palette on the market, not only will it take you through summer, but also through autumn. buy it whilst you can. It takes a long time to restock.
Foundation Wilderness
I started with YSL and they discontinued my colour. Then I went to Estee Lauder and they discontinued my colour. I switched to a different Estee Lauder Double wear and that was discontinued too. I went to MAC and it was just OK. Close enough. I have spent the last decade testing and wasting money on foundations until I spoke to "Chat Assistance" here on Beautylish. She was brilliant and for the first time in years, I was excited about a product. I am in England so it took a week and then arrived. I quickly washed my face primed and applied with a sponge and there it was. My colour. This is mid to full coverage (I have severe pigmentation caused by meds) foundation. I gradually built it up and it is fabulous. I used Kett Translucent powder and my face looked soft matte and flawless. I am delighted with it. I will be stocking up on boxing day and New Year sales.
I was not very excited
Having spent huge amounts on buying foundations online and unable to find the right colour coverage and texture. Then this arrived. I talked to the Beautylish chat lady and explained I use NC44.5 MAC studio fix and did she think Complex 70 was right for my skin. They were not live but about 30 seconds later I got and email and she confirmed that she too would recommend complex 70. So i am sitting quietly at home in England and I get a delivery. Always fun opening parcels. I immediatley washed and moisturised my face I use 3 primers (see Kimberly Clark on Youtube). First a moisturising one then a pore filling one and finally a spray (Photo finish). let that dry and went off to wet my sponges. Yeehaa the colour is fantastic. I dab it on my pigmentation marks (quite severe) let that soak up and then gently blend. I then used Kett finishing powder and I was stunned/gobsmacked (yes both) I now have lovely flawless skin but it is matte and somehow soft too. Like when you were a child. Dreams do come true (that could be a song lol). I am now going to consult Beautylish on the right colour concealer now.
