Very gentle!

This isn't the best at removing mascara - but that's okay because I haven't found anything to break down mascara as easily as oils, however I love using it in conjunction with an oil!

So hear me out on how I use it; I apply Oil ( Avocado and Jojoba being my favorites ) on my eyes and let it soak for a bit. Oils do a wonderful job at breaking down the toughest mascaras. I gently wipe it off but what are you left with? Panda eyes! Usually it's a pain in the butt to find a way to gently remove the mess off your face, and I am a pure believer in removing make up 100% before washing your face. Plus, I'm a make up junkie with dry skin.. I don't want to cleanse twice. The Bioderma Sensibio H2O cleanser makes the clean up portion so simple! I simply pour a bit on a cotton pad, gently wipe my mess and I'm done! I'll add a bit more to wipe off any face make up and I'm good to go. This also makes for a clean and easy clean up when you're trying to perfect that cat eye. I find most, if not all make up removers push the make up all over the place but I was surprised that I only needed a swipe with my Q-Tip. Excellent product!

Great setting powder!

I bought this setting powder and as someone with dry skin I was worried about that cakey look setting powders tend to leave behind. However, it did not leave anything behind... nothing! My foundation was set into place, didn't move, and it didn't look powdered. You get so much product for your money, I probably won't run out for 10 years!

Love this eyelash curler!

I'll admit, I wasn't really into curling my eyelashes. My mom did have a curling mishap where she plucked out one of her lashes through curling and it has not grown back. I figured if I was going to get one, I might as well jump for a great one. This eyelash curler fits perfectly onto the eye shape, and I personally think it's near impossible for anyone to screw up and yank out their lashes with this curler. It's gentle, leaves a beautiful curl that's there even after I wash off my eye make up. This eyelash curler has never pinched me either, which says alot because I can be very reckless with these types of contraptions! Worth the splurge, especially if you do curl your lashes just go straight for the good stuff!

Love this little brush!

This brush really does a great job at depositing color softly and evenly, making for an absolutely gorgeous contour. The small size allows me to get into more detailed areas unlike most contour brushes you find at Sephora which are usually large. Chikuhodo makes some of the softest brushes, therefore if you have sensitive skin or just hate how brushes feel against your skin it will be next to impossible for Chikuhodo to fail you. My skin is NEVER irritated with these brushes, and it's really hard to use any other brush once you get into Japenese brushes. I love this brush, and it's small enough to even contour the nose with and even the eyes. Definitely worth it if you enjoy contouring!

Great Buffing Brush!

I have dry skin and I was skeptical of this brush. I have a couple of cheap brushes that are softer, however it always ends up exfoliating my face and leaving dry flakes everywhere. I usually avoid buffing anything into the skin but for some reason unbeknownst to me I decided to purchase this brush. The first day I bought it, I looked at it and left it on display on my vanity. I told myself I was completely and absolutely nuts and out of my mind. I have softer brushes, what was I thinking? Well, one day I was daring enough to actually try it out and let me say not ONE flake was in sight. I don't know what Kevyn Aucoin puts into his brushes, apparently fairy dust and unicorn spit mix of some sort. His foundation brush was like magic and this buffing brush makes any foundation application look ~flawless. This brush continues to come with me everywhere I go and I hope to use it for other purposes as well. If you have dry skin, this one will not leave you looking like dandruff sprinkled all over your face!

Favorite foundation!

After purchasing the RCMA VK palettes, I had to go ahead and order my shade seperately. Only because it seems like alot of the girls make up I've done is from the Shinto series. This truly is a lovely foundation and one of my favorites. They are mostly pigment so they are definitely superior whwn it comes to coverage yet they look just like skin. Its also one of the very few that does not irritate my skin.. yay!

Favorite lip product!

OCC Lip tars are absolutely brilliant! The packaging is extremely versatile, especially for Make Up Artists and Make up Enthusiasts who enjoy mixing colors to create their own shade range. I have heard some say they are 'drying', however that isn't the case for me. I have full lips that chap quite easily and always have some sort of dryness. They look completely fine on my lips including the Matte liptars. The metallic liptars can feel a bit dry because of their metallic finish. The lip tars do not dry out my lips and last all day for me. I recommend purchasing the lip pencil primer as well especially if your lips are prone to feathering for the most precise picturesque application. You only need a pin drop amount for your lips. Love liptars and I plan on owning a bunch.

You will not be disappointed!

If I had to use just one foundation brush for the rest of my life, I would be perfectly happy to use this one!

A someone with dry skin, I thought sponges would be the answer. After purchasing the Beauty Blender and realizing what an over hyped dud it was ( Seriously, all you are paying for is the TYPE of sponge used. ) I figured I had to invest of something of quality.

First off, I don't know what KIND of magical fairy dust this brush has, but just by applying product it's literally ( if not almost ) blended.. Seriously, this brush deserves all the hype the BB has. Even though $82.00 will make you cringe it has 100000% worth it. I have zero regrets!

Secondly, it has the same pointed tip that the beauty blender has which means you can get into EVERY CORNER of your face. Seriously, if you are a foundation wearer you NEED to know this brush. Ask for it for the holidays, as a present for some special occasion, do what you can to get this brush. This is the one brush that I have urged all my friends to get because it is so worth it. The brush itself isn't exactly small, but it's pointed tip fits perfectly into small palettes like the RCMA palette. You get both that precision you get with small brushes, and the ease of doing your whole face quickly that you get with a big brush. Blending is so easy with this brush that I don't think it's possible to mess up. The precision of the pointed tip also allows you to do under eye concealer so no need to buy a concealer brush or use one.

Your skin will be left with such a nice finish. After investing into luxury brushes I can't really think of any reason to use any other kind of brush. Kevyn Aucoin has always made quality and I believe it is worth it, especially for any make up enthusiast.

Great setting spray

After using up all of my Kat Von D setting spray I wanted to try something new. Kat Von D did the job but was based on a solvent alcohol which is no good for skin. I went for Make Up Forever and I love this spray. It feels refreshing and does a good job of taking off any powder edge from setting my make up with powder. It has a lovely scent to it and the packaging is great.

The 'Beyonce' of foundations

As a self proclaimed make up fanatic, I have to say that this foundation is my favorite.

I read all the instructions on using it. YouTube videos, Beautylish editorials, my Jacqueline H. book of screenshots was probably viewed at least 900 times. I wanted to make sure that I had an idea of how to use it because I wanted to love it. I was confused at first, scoop mix blend don't use a damp sponge, 50% pigment blah blah all circling in my little head and intimidating me to the max. There are a million methods on how to use this foundation. Just make sure that you use it properly at the end of the day. The way that I enjoy using it the most is by warming it up with my finger while it's still in the palette ( I know, so not sanitary but I sanitize when doing others make up or every so often) and then applying it. Scooping it out literally makes me nervous but I liked how it looked when you take the step of warming it up first.

This foundation covers EVERYTHING. I used a peachy tones shade to color correct and several other shades as my foundation shades (Lighter-darker shades so that I still have dimension as opposed to that flat one color look ). I have to say that this looks so much like skin that you will be fooled. No, seriously I had to compare halves of my face to make sure because we are so used to a full face of make up looking like a full face of make up. This stuff is heaven sent and you will have to use it more than twice in order to get the hang of things.

I set it with RCMA no color powder and it looks ~Flawless~. The fantasy of full-coverage looking like skin. Even under the harshest and ugliest lighting you look ~Flawless~. I probably won't be buying anything ever again. I recommend using up any other foundations you have before buying this, otherwise you'll never look at them again and it'll be a waste. I waited until my other 2 were finished.. thank god I did as they weren't cheap either.
