Gorgeous, Pigmented & not chunky :)
I just bought 2 of these the other day at ulta and i can't wait to go back this week and pick up some more. I used one for almost like a golden bronze affect on my cheek - GORG. I really like the consistency of the shadows, they are smooth, not overly chunky. After apply my Urban Decay Primer, the shadows went on great, i didn't have hardly any fall out. Needless to say - i can't wait to get more colors :). This time i'll pick up some brighter colors! one of colors i got was "Mink Pearl" LP19 and i believe the other was "Orange". LP18. I took off the packaging on it and don't exactly remember. The ONLY downside for me is the packaging. It can be a bit difficult to get the shadow out and if not careful can spill and it could waste. I'm looking into getting other ways of storing it maybe at a Michael's or something. <3
Increase hair fall out :(
At first i really enjoyed using this brand, but unfortunately after a couple of months i realized that my hair started falling out A LOT more than normal. Chunks of my hair were falling out. It was the weirdest thing. I knew it must be this pair of shampoo & conditioner b/c this was the only new thing added to my regimen. I'm trying to get whatever is great for my hair , is organic the best way to go? Or just regular shampoo/conditioner?
I wasn't too crazy about it at first - but now i LOVE IT
When i first bought this foundation, my skin was a bit too light for it - so i wasn't too happy with it. I also don't think i had the right brush either to applicate it.. i stayed away from it for a while until a couple weeks ago and now i LOVE it. After i got a great little tan and the right brush of course -this foundation became a DREAM. i have really dry skin - i don't mind the process of using a liquid foundation and then sealing it w/ a powder -- but sometimes even the setting powder can still make my skin look dry or sometimes uneven/patchy. This foundation dries to a matte finish - which i wasn't too sure how it would look on me b/c i have dry skin - but it make my skin radiate!! It gives me such a great coverage and i don't have to worry about setting it with a powder b/c it last ALLLLL day. This is probably one of my favorite foundations for my skin. I love it, i need to buy a new before i run out!!!
I hesitated on buying this for so long and now i regret it! it's amazing and i love it!
I already purchased NYX jumbo pencil in "milk" and in "black", and i used that for my eyelid on top of Urban Decay's primer potion -- just to brighten colors, but i found that it was really creamy, and even though it brighten the colors some, it really didn't last as long as i thought it would. The "black" jumbo pencil on it's own would TERRIBLY crease my eye shadows, so i kinda stop using that one all together. But I still enjoy my "milk" jumbo pencil to use as eye liner, but thats really it. Finally i went to purchase the eyeshadow base in white, i've used for about a couple days now, w/extremely bright color combos on my eye - and ILOVEIT. it isn't as greasy and "creasy" as the jumbo pencil. It has a "stickier" consistantcy, if that makes any sense haha - it really brightens colors and helps them stay put along w my eye primer. I really LOVE this product and ill probably OD on it once i get some $$$. lol! I love it!
New fav mascara
MY New Favorite Mascara along with Maybelline Falsies! This separates my lashes and helps them not to clump! I loveeeeee it <3 I even love it better than MAC mascaras. ONly b/c it doesn't leave a bunch of product on the rims of my eyes and/or burns them. I pair it up with Maybelline falsies and it looks like i have fake lashes :)
Looked dry on my skin
I'm not sure if it's because this is a cream foundation, has a matte finish, or b/c my skin is dry skin - but this didn't sit well on my skin at all. It didn't blend well, and made me look almost chalky. I saw in a GLAMOUR magazine article saying how it was worth the $$ to try the foundation. But it was an epic fail for my skin. It just sits in my makeup kit :/
Love the Color & how it doesn't come off easily!
I just bought one of this Revlon lipstick in the color PLUM to get that fall burgundy lip look, when i go home i tried it out , w/out lipliner or anything- not only was the color beautiful but when i tried to pat it off it wouldn't budge! I had to plot it off about 6 times for the color to fade. I loved the fact that i can trust it will stay on!!! <3 can't wait to try more
