Works great, but creases the fastest on me!
I got a sample of this. My shadows apply super vibrant over them without a base, more than my other primers. However, this also creases the fastest on me and badly. I always set my primer with a skintone color to help blending and prevent as much creasing as possible. My Tarte Creaseless primer and GDE Control Freak last about 10 hours without creasing. I can always use a base to pull ultimate vibrancy. Overall, this isn't my favorite, but works really nice. I've tried a lot worse!
Doesn't mix well with my oily skin
I can't say this is a horrible product. I just don't think it works too well with my extremely oily/combo skin. I tried a couple different foundations over it, and neither of them lasted more than 4 hours without separating on my face. It's a nice smooth creamy texture. I'm a person who needs a primer that makes my face cactus dry before putting on foundation. haha
The best lip color I have!
I bought the shade playful. This is the prettiest most unique shade I've seen in a while. It's exactly how it's described, a mauve pink with a hint of dusty purple rose. It's bright and playful without being in your face. This is a great color to spice up the boring office makeup or if you're daring to try some bold color. The formula is amazing. It's definitely matte, but moisturizing. I wear this with a lilac liner and it stays on through drinking and light snacking. The only flaw, which is tiny, that it can feel slightly sticky on the lips.
Removes makeup and soothed my skin.
This is a great product. It took off ALL of my makeup. It made my skin feel soothed, refreshed, and clean. If I was having a bad or late night I'd use this and didn't face the consequences of not washing my face. They're soft as well. I just wish you got more for the money. $6-8 for 25 wipes. Even splitting them wouldn't make them last long enough in my opinion.
This did not work with my skin!
I inherited this from my mother. It's a very silicone based primer, extremely gel like in texture. I'd put in on and my face would feel kind of clammy. I have oily/combo skin. It just didn't mesh well. I'd put on foundation, within hours it'd start doing the final stages of breaking down on my skin. Like I'd worn it a full day. I got a $7 indie company primer and the foundations I have last so much longer now!
I bought this before I decided to go Cruelty Free!
Overall, I like this foundation. It's a solid medium coverage. I was the lightest shade 110 and it matched me really well. I have a neutral undertone. I can go pink or yellow depending on how strong the base is. It had a good satin/natural looking finish. I'd set it with powder and it'd brighten my skin, without looking shiny. It'd get a bit dewy throughout the day, but didn't look bad. I only had to use minor amount of concealer. I have medium acne troubles, very naturally pink cheeks, and broken capillaries around my nose. I wish Maybelline was cruelty free. I think they're one of the best drugstore options.
This is okay, not a miracle worker.
I don't think it has a high enough concentration content, only 15%. I use it and it takes about 4 days for it to remove a blemish. Even then, my pimples get infected. If they don't clear fast it's going to be over a week before it clears. I think this would work much better at about a 50% level. It also stings my face, especially when it's already irritated.
DON'T BUY THIS!
I bought the Tea Trea Kit from Sephora. This came with. I couldn't figure out why my skin didn't feel so clean, acne free, and moisturized. Toners in general are bad for the skin because of the alcohol in it. I read the ingredient list on it after using half of it. There's CORNSTARCH in this! Yeah, the ingredient that feeds bacteria for acne! Not to mention the alcohol content. I use the remainder of this to take off hair dye that gets on my skin, that's how potent of a skin stripper it is. I just use the Tea Tree Gel Face Wash with a rag to work it into my skin. Other than menstrual related acne, my face is 95% clear.
Goodbye dirt, grime, and bacteria!
I've had this product for almost 3 months. I've been using it faithfully since I got it. It's a gray clay mask. You put it on, go back to wash it off, and see black spots from where dirt is being pulled out. It can feel tight or irritating at times, mainly when my skin has collected a lot of grime. It's helped reduce my acne, my pores are about 50% smaller, and my skin looks brighter. I've noticed a huge difference with using this. It can be a bit drying afterwards, but I use the aloe mask from The Body Shop to return the moisture to my skin. It's also worth the price sale or not. (They usually always have a sale of some kind.) It's a dense product, so I've barely used a quarter of the jar in 3 months!
Yumm Vanilla Improved My Skin!
I bought this because I'm obsessed with the scent of vanilla, and want to try their body butters. Everyone has raved about them. I love that there's a deep moisture side and a regular one. The extra moisture side is much like the texture of actual butter. I use it after I've shaved or when my skin gets extra dry. I use the regular side for my arms and hands mostly. The scent is strong, but not over powering, it lasts all day! It's helped my legs with ashyness after shaving etc. I love the way my skin looks. It's also lasted me quite a long time. I use it about 3-4 times a week.
