As close to HG as my blush gets
I have a few Tarte Amazonian Clay Blushes and love them all. The ones I have are smoothe and almost creamy for a powder. The pigmentation is really good - not so pigmented that they're finicky to apply, not so sheer you have to work hard at building colour. I find these blushes really last without fading. Definitely worth a try.
Universally Flattering
This is is good lipgloss. Is it spectacular? No. Is it exceptional? No. The consistency and pigmentation are really nice. It's not at all gooey or sticky. The Orgasm shade is universally flattering and adds dimension to even the deepest, darkest lipsticks. It can be worn alone for a beautiful, sheer, natural, everyday look.
Light to medium coverage and dewy finish
I really, really like Nars Sheer Glow. The colour range is really good. Luxurious consistency. Fairly light coverage, but definitely buildable. Looks best when really massaged into the skin with clean, warm hands. Beautiful, radiant, glowy finish.
Lovely gel eyeliner - BUT dries out too quickly
I really do love all colours of Fluidline. It's great to see such a wide range of colours, and the consistency is very smooth and creamy. They're dead easy to apply, great for tight lining, and last all day and into the evening. The one big drawback is how quickly they dry out. I am fanatical about tightly closing lids on all my products immediately after use, so that's not the problem. Once Fluidlines dry out, they're still useable, but are more crumby, stiff and difficult to work with.
My go-to base
Paint Pots are excellent, oil-free cream eye colours that are most used as a base. It's pretty stiff, but if you take some and work it between your ring fingers to warm it up, it becomes much easier to apply. The Painterly colour neutralizes the eyelid on light to medium skin tones and gives shadow something to stick to. So, eyeshadows appear more vibrant and last all day long
