Beauty Product Reviews
Love it so far.
I haven't worn it for any real length of time yet, but I have put it on an the color and feel on my lips is incredible. It's not gooey or sticky - which I absolutely love lipstick but I am extremely particular about what ones I wear because I hate when it smears constantly or they make your lips feels gross and stick together when you open/close your mouth. This feels and looks nice. I have the regular melted violet and the melted "metal" Debutante and so far I like them both really well.
I love these!
I have like five of these. The inside of my purse looks like an Easter egg hunt. I've been buying them for everyone for birthday and Christmas gifts. My absolute favorite lip balms. Some people don't like these, I'm really not sure why. Make my lips feel great, smell good, and cute packaging.
Just say no kids.
This product won't do anything for your hair but add a gross build up. Save yourself the money. This is one of those products I tried before I went to cosmetology school and now realize why my hair felt awful when I used it. Garnier hair products aren't worth anything, trust me. I used them religiously for more than a year and they made my hair feel like wires.
Did nothing for my hair.
I bought this product and the matching shampoo and conditioner a few years ago (2011) before I was in cosmetology school thinking it might do something great for my hair. No. It made my hair feel gross and dried out and worse than using nothing. Seems to contain too much alcohol honestly. It had a good smell, but that was the only thing these products had going for them.
Good, Product. But I hate the smell.
I bought a small trial size of this and didn't care much for it. I didn't like the smell, it smelled like strong men's cologne and didn't work as good as Farouk white truffle and pearl, pearl complex treatment for hair and skin. I gave it to my fiance. I do really like the Farouk white truffle and pearl, pearl complex treatment for hair and skin. It's a similar product by the same company and it has a better smell and does more for the hair and skin than this stuff.
Update: Since trying this I have used the version with Keratin and I love it and it smells amazing. I continue to use this stuff on my fiance's hair and it does him a lot of good.
Not very soft, but they have withstood more than two years of abuse.
I have these in jet black. I have had them since August 2011 and it is now the end of October 2013. They have never been as soft as I wanted them to be, but they have always looked amazingly natural and have held up for this whole time. I can still wear them now even, they are just pretty dry and the ends have some breakage so they are about an inch shorter than when I got them. They have also lost quite a bit of hair from me not carefully brushing them and abusing them. They've rarely seen the inside of an extension case so considering all of that, I am quite pleased with them. They are still really thick and don't appear to have lost much hair even though I know they have.
Almost always stays in place perfectly until you take it off.
This is the best eyeliner I have ever used. It's really dark, dries almost instantly, and unless your eyes water or you are crying, etc. it will stay in place perfectly until I take it off. And even if your eyes do water and it does come off, it just mostly disappears instead of smearing all over your eyes and making you look scary. Also, it takes like forever to run out. I just bought my second thing of it today because the first one finally is drying out after having it more than six months. Another thing, I use the thicker version of this. It's the same thing just this is more pen size and the one I have is more marker size.
Definitely not a fan.
I use the Bare Minerals matte foundation, and often Ulta will have deals where if you spend so much you get a free gift, etc. So I always try to take advantage of those. I got this as a free gift and have also gotten the Lash Domination mascara as a fred gift before this and liked it, so I had high hopes for this... but no. This mascara does nothing for me. The brush is totally worthless. It just turns my eyelashes into gross clumps and you can not layers this stuff at all. It's awful. But this is why I enjoy getting the free gifts so then I can find out without wasting money on a product and this is one product I'm glad I got free and didn't waste money on.
Good mascara but could be better.
I got this as a free gift at Ulta when I bought my Bare Minerals Foundation. I do really like this mascara. It took me a little bit to get used to because I am used to mascaras with softer, flexible, dense bristles but now that I am used to it I like it. I did however stab myself in the eye while getting used to the brush and still do sometimes so if you aren't used to brushes with stiff bristles be careful, but you should definitely try it.
Best Foundation I've ever used.
For years I have struggled with trying to find a good foundation that wouldn't smear almost completely off my face half way through the day due to my oily skin. But for the longest time I couldn't allow myself to spend the higher prices for make up and instead bought drug store make up which all failed horribly. I'm so glad I decided to switch to Bare Minerals. It's not cheap but it does exactly what I want it to do and barely have to touch it up at all. I do recomend using a moisturizer and a primer underneath this foundation though. You will have to use way less product than using it without them I've found. I also recomend a concealer underneath if you are looking for full coverage. It covers well by itself, but the concealer helps cover redness and any imperfections and gives a totally flawless look. Also doesn't break my skin out and does do a lot to control oil unlike other make ups. With using clean and clear oil blotting sheets and doing light touch ups like twice, I kept this make up on and looking flawless for more than 12 hours just today while attending an event held several hours away.
