Clumpy and too wet

Naturally, my lashes are long, but with this mascara, I can't seem to apply it without using some sort of eyelash comb to unclump it. I usually take about 5 minutes for both of my eyes and I love layering mascara, but this isn't the type of mascara to layer up. If you let it dry, it starts clumping so you have to apply this very fast and one eye at a time. To me, that's very annoying because I like to do one eye and see what I have to do to the other to get them to look the same. Anyways, I was very disappointed with this product because I heard such great reviews about it. So it's not great, but once I get the clumpiness combed out it does what it says.
