Beauty Product Reviews
Seals the deal
I'm all about looking good from head to toe especially when I'm doing a clients face or giving consultations, that's why my brows must stay put at all times. Model in a Bottle was the second brow sealer I'd ever tried and I must say it's not half bad. My brows last at least 8 hrs and that's during the warmer months, when sweating is your worst enemy. In the .5fl oz bottle you get a synthetic brush or a spoolie and it works wonders for women who fill or draw on their brows. It dry time is rapid and it's not sticky or flaky so you don't have to worry about brows that appear to have dandruff. The finish is a bit shiny though so setting with a little transluscent powder is highly suggested. Also, a little goes a long way so you don't have to worry about using too much.
I purchase 2 of the .5fl oz bottles on Hautelook for only $14 which is a steal.
Note: I apply with a cotton swap or finger tip so as not to disrupt the fill in color.
Long lasting and durable
Since I've started this makeup journey quite a while ago I'm always in search for products that serve a mult-purpose. With the Michael Todd liners I found just that. The 2 colors I started out with are Chocolate Cherry (deep purply blk w/ micro red glitter) and Urban Mobility (dark teal). These gel liners work well on the water line, lower/upper lash line and as shadow bases. And don't worry if you have watery eyes because these babies don't move and I've never had to set them w/ shadow to make sure they don't budge or smudge.
There are about 16 gorgeous colors and you get 4.5 g in each gel pot. It seems small but a little goes a long way.
Tahitian Glow
The Michael Todd Compact Powder Bronzer was one of my first products from this brand. The packaging is a sophisticated burgundy, a little bulky but you get a lot for the money. As my title states I got Tahiti and it's more of a Terra Cota color w/ micro peachy gold glitters. The glitter isn't overwhelming so you don't have to worry if you have an oily complexion (like myself) and coming off too shiny. This bronzer is very working about and I've used it as a blush and all-over bronzer to give me that sun-kissed glow. The finish is nice, silky and very natural looking.
I'd definitely recommed this product.
Pleasantly Surprised
When this palette first arrived on scene I wasn't too gung-ho about the whole thing. When it comes to Urban Decay they have a way of disappointing me with their reoccurring shadow colors appearing in all of their palettes. From first sight this was just another recreation of some shadows they took from previous palettes. I wasn't about to purchase this with my own money so I was glad I got it as a gift. Sister was I wrong!
The colors are beautiful and they work well on their own, combined with the other colors or even bright colors. The textures in this palette vary which gives you the ability to mix and match your look and it's appealing and complimentary to all skin tones. Super Plus!! Now that I've realized how wonderful the palette is and the color saturation is impeccable I wold have definitely spent my own money to get this.
All "Dress"d Up
I received this product a few times in my Influenster product box and each time enjoyed them. The Nail Dress stickers are very easy to apply and fit almost every nail with ease. I have small fingers so I was pleasantly surprised that I could find enough of the stickers in the back to go over each of my nails. The pack contains approx. 28 stickers and they even give you larger ones so you can dress you toes (great for the Summer or dressing out for the beach), or you can save the rest for the next time. The cut pieces can be saved and used again to make up your own nail designs which I found really neat which means you're not wasting anything.
They come is tons of styles and some are even 3D w/ jewels and accents on them. A very quick and easy way to dress your nails and go.
