It is easy to go blonde if you know what you're doing and the right supplies to use. All the materials I use to bleach my hair are very inexpensive and can be purchased at Sally Beauty Supply or any other beauty supply store.
I lift my hair with cream bleach through all the levels and typically do not use toner. I have very healthy hair because of this method and it is still very shiny, soft and looks healthy!
Remember, I'm not a licensed beautician and haven't gone to beauty school. I am simply sharing my routine and methods for bleaching dark hair to blonde, since I've been platinum blonde for 12 years. If you want to bleach your hair and haven't done it before, start with a test batch of hair that you trim off of your head (like a 1" section) and test in a plastic bowl.
