Tuxedo nail art tutorial
This design can be done free hand (if you have a steady hand) or using a dotting tool and some stripping tape. If you don't have stripping tape and a dotting tool you can use a bobby pin or a tooth pick instead of a dotting tool and use normal sticky tape cut into thin strips instead of stripping tape.

If you're going to recreate this design I suggest you do it when you have plenty of time as this one takes a while.
I stuck to the traditional black and white but I think this design would look great in any colour, like red bow ties or even PINK!

TIPS-
If you're going to use a sharpie for nail art DO NOT use top coat as it will smudge, I found out the hard way lol!

Wait until the nail polish is completely dry before applying the stripping tape as applying it to wet or tacky nails will just remove the polish.

I always remove my stripping tape when the polish is still wet as it makes a cleaner line.

Stick gems on using nail glue, but only a small amount. If you use lot of glue it will seep through the layers of nail polish and ruin your leave a mark on your natural nail.

PRODUCTS USED-
Sally Henson - Extreme Wear White On
Nails Inc - Black Taxi
Dotting tools and stripping tape were from eBay and were really affordable :)

TUTORIAL-
Paint you nails white, this will be the shirt.
When the nails are 100% dry use stripping tape make a triangle on your nail.
Paint the bottom half of your nail black, this will represent the jacket.
Then using a sharpie (or black nail polish) do two sideways triangles to make the bow tie.
Take your dotting tool and place on three buttons.
To add detail to the jacket take white polish and a thin brush and draw a sideways 'M'.
Finish with a gem in the centre of the bow tie!
