Products I used
-L'oreal Hair Color Remover ( drugstores, also could use Color Oops!)
-Clairol Born Blonde Kit ( Although I heard L'oreal's bleaching kit is way better, and I would recommend getting bleaching tools etc from Sallys Beauty Supply) ( YOU NEED BLEACH TO LIGHTEN HAIR; do not attempt to just dye your hair with a blonde box of hairdye! It WILL not turn out good I've tried it before as a teen haha)
-Wella Toner ( sallys) in T14 ( to counter brassy hair you need a toner, either a blue based to counter orange and darker yellow tones or a violet based to counter yellow and pale yellow tones)
- Developer ( I used volume 30, but it's recommended to use volume 10, I used 30 to lift the color lighter, if you use 30 be sure your hair can handle it, my hair was still pretty healthy before I used the toner)
-Olive Oil, and coconut oil ( not mentioned but I did mix the two when I moisturized my hair in between bleaching)
-Pantene Silver Expressions Conditioner
* My hair was not at a very pale yellow stage when I bleached it, so if you get to a pale yellow or yellow stage it is recommended to buy a VIOLET toner rather than a blue based one like the one I used for my brassy orangy-yellow hair.
DISCLAIMER
* My hair was in VERY healthy condition before bleaching, etc. If your hair has been recently dyed, permed, or bleached, etc. ( chemically processed); I would not suggest bleaching your hair!
* I am NOT a licensed cosmetologists, this video is for informational purposes, if you choose to do your own hair I suggest doing all necessary allergy tests and reading the information/instructions before proceeding to change your hair color; I also suggest consulting with a stylist if your hair is dyed black.
