HOW TO.... Tree design canvas earring holder

This is the first in my HOW TO.... series. I wanted to start a series of videos that revolve around my love for creativity and include my love for style and beauty, and the perfect way to kick this off is a little project that ive had on my mind for some time now and that is a canvas earring holder. A lot of people have done these, but I wanted to make mine that bit more creative - you dont need much for this, canvases are easy to find on the high street not just in art shops but also in bargain book stores. You also will need pens or pencils, or paint if thats your thing.

A lot of people have done these, but I wanted to make mine that bit more creative - you dont need much for this, canvases are easy to find on the high street not just in art shops but also in bargain book stores. You also will need pens or pencils, or paint if thats your thing.

This is mainly for studs, but theres no reason you couldnt hang some dangly ones on there, I wanted to make this for my smaller earrings as I feel when they are altogether in one pot I cant see what I have and often overlook some lovely pieces in the jumble.

The great thing about this is that trees are an organic thing, they dont all look the same and there really is no right or wrong here, you dont have to have green leaves you can have pink (like a cherry blossom) if that goes with your room better, you can change them up for the seasons with an autumn tree covered in orange, red and yellow leaves. A tree can fit in with any decor you have, its simple and the studs look amazing dotted around on it quite randomly.
