Because there are so many online sellers of FAKE OPI nail polish details on how to spot a fake has become very inaccurate as some of these polishes are not fake at all. Not all OPI nail polish is created with the same consistency or bottle features so a real OPI polish could have a strong smell or watery consistency also known as "sheer"....it doesn't mean its a fake or has been tampered with. The only way to ensure you have authentic OPI polish is to buy from a licensed distributor but still not every bottle of OPI polish sold online is fake...just too many myths about this!
