I have been wanting to create an ombre nail design since a very long time now. However, I just couldn't come up with a concept that not only seemed easy but also less messy than the usual sponge method. besides a lot of you have been requesting me to do an ombre nail designs without using sponge.

My initial thought was to do something using cotton balls or a plastic wrap. But in spite of a number of attempts I just could not seem to get it right. And then a week or so ago i came across this brilliant creation and I knew right away that I just had to try it.

I had seen similar designs before, but they all were mostly either done in dots or stripes. The hearts looked simply fabulous. I decided to experiment a little bit more and as it turned out, this design could be so easily done with a toothpick too!

You can do these types of easy nail designs in many other styles and using many types of colors as well. you can see in the above superwowstyle (super wow style) video, I have used multi colored look. It usually works very well, and if you want to keep your manicure on for a long time, it is a very good idea as it will go with many of your outfits. But these looks work really very well if you try to use colors like say black. For instance, say you do this Ombre Hearts - nail designs using Toothpick Only with black. your base color in that case should be white and the darkest color black. The next shade should be grey and the lightest should be a very very light grey shade. You can so well get this look with toothpick nail design shared above it will be amazing!

So, well, I really do hope that you enjoyed this video and liked this look. i am sorry i know the video quality could have been better, buy this one was shot using a very new camera, so as you can well imagine I am really struggling with it!
