Hey guys! Today I am super excited to be doing a collab with KittyApprovedBeauty (Sarah!) - we have both filmed 10 Things I'd Buy First If My Makeup Disappeared. This starting over tag video is such a fun concept! I've seen a bunch of youtubers over the last few months film some sort of 10 things I'd buy first if my makeup disappeared video and I had such a fun time picking out the 10 things I'd buy first! I started with trying to pick smart palettes - I picked an amazing travel palette by the Balm Cosmetics with both eyeshadow and face powders that I adore, a contour + setting powder palette from Elf Cosmetics, and my absolute favorite metallic eyeshadow palette from Too Faced because I can't go without some super amazing shimmer eyeshadows! Keeping this video at 10 Things I'd Buy First was very difficult - I had a really hard time picking out a foundation product! I really wanted a nice BB cream (I love Elf's!) and a medium to full coverage foundation. I eventually picked the Elf Flawless Finish Foundation because it's a comfortable, satin finish foundation that I can build and it has spf! It was the closest I could pick to a perfect foundation though the Wet n Wild Photofocus foundation was my next choice. Mascara was actually my easiest pick - The Balm Mad Lash is very lengthening and most importantly it doesn't budge even when I sweat or cry. I have a few other mascaras that provide volume but smear more easily so Mad Lash was a no brainer. I really only use one brow product so that was pretty easy however lipstick was very difficult! I love wearing bright colors like fuschia and reds but those don't always go with everything colorful I like to wear on my eyes so I played it safe with the Tarte option which at least gives me a glossy and satin finish! This makeup video really helped me to think about what I would need and miss first after pretending I lost all my makeup.
