Hi guys! I had someone request this video, so I thougt I'd dive into what you do as an assistant in a salon and my thoughts on assisting. There's a lot to the salon/cosmetology industry and it's hard to know how to break into it, but assisting is always a good way to get your food in the door, but you don't want to assist for long! I'm going to talk about my experience in getting into the industry and how I didn't assist and how I feel it was the best possible thing for me.
