I never really have spent too much on makeup coz anyways I love clothes more than makeup so but I would never ever spend more than 30-40 dollars on makeup and I would never buy a mascara or foundation that cost 40 dollars I'm pretty cheap

I just feel like makeup is not a must have although I do love makeup but if we're to spend a lot on makeup I would feel pretty bad but that just me.

With makeup, no. Only because I don't wear as much makeup as most women (just foundation, concealer, eyeliner, mascara and lipgloss) so I don't buy as much. And the products I used aren't that expensive. Now clothes and shoes on the other hand..ABSOLUTELY. I spent $78 on a pair of freaking of freaking Levis yesterday and I was CRUSHED when I saw that receipt. I could have bought 2 pair for that price. I have a bad habit of buying first and looking at receipts and price tags later. Smfh

Hahah I spend more money on makeup than clothes so it balances out. when I buy clothes I wait till it goes in sale then I buy it but with makeup its my guilty pleasure.

No I don't feel guilty. If I'm going to use it, why not?! I always try to buy colors that I don't have. I'm not going to buy 40 pink lipglosses in all different brands just because I want a brand. If that makes sense lol.

Why would you feel bad?! if there s one thing I ever learned I that I don t need to be cheap with myself.. and when I am in doubt my boyfriend tells me o buy them if I really want them. if you re a smoker you spend a lot of money on cigarrets why wouldn't you spend it on something you really love?!

Yes :( I probably average like $250 a month on makeup and skincare alone which is embarrassing tbh. I always feel guilty after and say I won't splurge again but every time it happens...again. I think my shopping issues are directly related to my emotions and when I'm sad or stressed I'm like 10x more likely to buy makeup. I know it could go toward better things but I can't stop. :( I literally have 35 bottles of open foundation...I'm never going to use them all, I just waste my money.

I will accept I do feel bad sometimes, only bcoz I don't need all those makeup. I work hard, and I very strongly believe that I have earned the right to splurge on myself, but sometimes its just way too much! if I am not happy, depressed etc.I tend to spend thinking twice... that part I don't like :)
to justify my act, I just make sure that I am using the products :)

A little of column A, a little of column B. On the one hand makeup is the business I'm making so it's an investment, but even before that it's something that makes me feel good, I struggle with mental health issues and went through a period where I never wore makeup. At the time it didn't bother me but when I started to again, I realized that not wearing makeup, taking care of myself like that-for me, was because of my depression. Sometimes it's a sore spot between my husband and I because it can be excessive, but at the same time I feel like: he was attracted to me as I look. I don't look like an all natural girl, I'm much more high maintenance. He knew that going in, he likes what he sees, pony up baby! ;)

I am a teenager, and I don't have a job yet, however I constantly compete at talent shows. I earn my money by doing that, and other thingsngs for neighbors and such, so I don't feel bad for buying makeup. When I buy expensive stuff though, my wallet feels pretty crappy. lol:)
