Need help dying my hair purple.

I want to dye my dark-ish brown hair to purple, I am using splat hair colour and I don't want to use bleach but I will if a have to, I was just wondering if I can leave the hair dye in for as long as I want to, to make it more vibrant? Here's my hair now (excuse the face! Lol!!)

You will have to use bleach I believe if you have dark hair.

I wanted to use splat for my hair too but I would have to bleach it because my hair is really dark brown.

I have already bought it Carolina!! I also have used it before but it didn't do anything bad to my hair but I think I will bleach it just to make it more vibrant anyways!! Thanks for the help ladies!! ;)

Don't use splat! omg please don't use splat, if you ever wanna dye it a different color its not going to pick up exactly what you want and you can't bleach it out

Plus it stains your skin horribly if you get it anywhere, splat is the devil haha

Splat sucks, please don't use it!! & if you're worried about damaging just use a 30 volume developer. it's less harsh than a 40. Use manic panic or ion dye. you can get them at Sally's and leave them on for as long as you want. they're amazing!!
