This is my first time, I've never colored my hair before except henna which I used to always get it done professionally.. And I don't have anyone to help me.. So how to apply the color evenly without missing any patch of hair.. Any tips or tricks

You probably should also seek a professional considering most hair colors on the market have a hard time covering up the henna and can react to it. I'm pretty sure it would be in a pamphlet with whatever color you've purchased. Hope his helps.
