I agree with Jacqlyn it leads to oil build up on scalp. Even if it doesn't look like it & clogs your hair follicles & therefore slowing your hair growth process & regeneration of new cells in your scalp.

It can also lead to hair fallout...conditioner is meant to condition the parts of your hair that don't get conditioned naturally by your hair oils. Such as the lower part of your hair, in my opinion & my hair stylist too, that's how you should only use it, but since it works for other people...you might as well try it & see what happens...

It's not good 4 your scalp.sometimes chemicals in conditioner can cause damage to hair roots.

I always use conditioner on my roots, and my hair is the healthiest it's ever been:) I'm the same as Olivia, my hair has grown really fast recently because it's healthily, however I do have naturally fast growing hair. My hair type is fine but lots of it:)

It depends on hair, like everyone else said they haven't had a problem with putting it on their scalp but for me it makes my hair super dry, its like dandruff for me.

That's why you need organic shampoo and conditioner. It doesn't have damaging things in it like sulfates!
