I see your post but I'm not sure if anyone else can? BL has some issues showing posts sometimes & its been acting crazy all day for me! I don't know if maybe the ladies just can't help cause its really hard to get foundation colors correct. I'm 40 & still am not sure which TRUE shade I am. I'm going to have to go get a consultation @ a mu counter which is what most women do I guess. Its what they all say on here! So maybe nobody sees your post or just don't know how to help? Idk? Just post it over tomorrow I guess if I'm the only one who comments. Sorry!

I can see this post. But I didn't see one previously. I agree with Lisa. I don't know my true shade either. I guess most of the time and when I find one that worksI try to use it to color match in other brands. Lol. I should just go have it checked for myself too. There are a few ladies on here , Jacqueline and Alma, that have done great info regarding finding your shade. If they see this post I am sure they will try to help you. Or you can even do a talk search for shade matching and see what threads pop up. I hope this helps you! :-)

First I would go to Sephora and get matched to a few brands and get samples of those. Then go to M.A.C and get matched there and get a sample of the foundation they pair you with.
DONT BUY ANYTHING YET! Get the samples, try it out at home. Even if you don't intend to buy a higher end foundation you can use the color match to find what will match you in a drug store formula with a lot less trial and error. It's hard to tell over a photo on the Internet what your true color is, and you want to try a foundation on, wear it all day and see it how it looks in natural daylight and not just in the store.
I would get samples of MUFE face and body, NARS, try UD Naked, I love Dior Naked foundation and maybe Givenchy Photo Perfection. You may find though that some brands cater to your skin tone or undertone more than others. I wanted to try MUFE but they were all too pink for me.
Oh also get a sample of Bobbi Brown, you appear to be a honey/golden color skin-tone and her line caters to having more yellow in her foundations.

Honestly. I love Almay smart shade. I've used it for years. I get the light medium but they have a medium dark that adjusts to pink or yellow tones. I actually just started using their smart shade CC foundation and live it just as much as the origional as its moisturizing. I use my fingers to apply dabbing all over and blending then patting in. I add a second thin small layer again and it covers light to medium coverage. I love it cuz its so easy to use and it's super easy. Buy it where they will allow you to return it incase it's just not for you:)

Are you wanting to purchase high end or drugstore? Like the other ladies suggested I'd go to sephora or a makeup counter and get several samples. If you're going to go the drugstore route I'd use those samples to match.

Get color matched as previously posted. MAC appears to be a universal standard. It helps to take someone with you for a 2nd pair of eyes.
