I just bought the Shinto palette along with rcma's foundation thinner and my first time applying it was a disaster.
I wanna say it's because my foundation to thinner ratio was off. I used the tiniest bit of foundation and one itty bitty drop of the thinner. Since it was just a test I didn't want to waste a bunch of product for basically a swatch that will last for 5 minutes.
Basically what I want to know is if it was too little foundation for thinner or is it just the thinner? It looked separated on my face. I used it with my kay Von d foundation and it was pretty gross as well.

What am I doing wrong? Any tips for either products?

It probably was... I was very curious about what you were talking about and googled it and a website said to apply the product your trying to thin and then take a sponge with the thinner on it and work it that way.

Ah I was hoping either you or alma would help me out :) I believe I've seen one of you guys talk about it (or I'm just crazy) lol I'll definitely try it out without the thinner like you do thanks 💚
