I went to sephora and they tried to sell me the hourglass foundation but I want to hear personal experiences first? I have oily skin and want a foundation that will give me a matte look not dewy.

Hello bree the hourglass immaculate liquid powder foundation is amazing it's light to medium once it starts to settle it turns into a powder finish witch is totally beautiful I personally love it pared up with the hourglass mineral veil primer but that you could ask for sample if you do purchase it also you could have asked them for samples of both the foundation and primer I mean this foundation I have nothing negative to say there's many shade selection it's a good light weight longitivity perfect the price is pricey but to me it's worth it I love how flawless it looks also it is meant for oily to normal skin I believe I can't quite remember but it helps in time the face get better after usage if you read about the product it will enhance the dry spots if not properly moisturized just like any foundation because it's targeted to keep us oil free again I don't think you need to purchase just get samples

Hourglass is great but will cling to dry patches as Elsa said. Estée Lauder double wear was recommended to me two years ago on beautylish and it's also very good. For drug store, the cover girl outlast is surprisingly good! Best of luck and let us know how it works out:)
