I want to buy some natural hair brushes, but I don't know if I should buy goat hair brushes or pony hair brushes. Which ones are softer?

Goat hair, I imagine. MAC brushes are made from goat hair.

When I read this I thought you meant hairbrushes and I was thinking "how are you going to brush hair with hair?" Lol hahaha but I LOVE MAC brushes they're absolutely wonderful and as Symone mentioned they are goat hair. My MAC brushes are so soft. I imagine pony hair would be coarser? I might be wrong though.

Horse hair is mostly only used for eyeshadow, it picks up more color than goat. It is a little more stiff and scratchier. Hakuhodo has a good post on their blog about this, I'll see if I can link it.

Check it out, and if you wanna buy brushes, check out their brushes. They are seriously amazing! Better than Mac 100%.
