What Is Bb Cream?

I get that bb cream is a cream but do you chose a shade for your skin color? or is it just cream? and what does it do for? is it better then foundation? xoxo thankss girlsss.

BB cream stands for Beauty Balm, however they're more like tinted moisturizers with SPF. the higher end BB creams come in a variety of shades, however I've noticed the drugstore brands aren't as versatile.
I personally don't feel they're better than foundation. I think BB creams are good for young girls or for lazy makeup days c: I don't use them so I can't recommend any good brands.
