So I was shopping around at sephora, Ulta, and a couple department stores looking for makeup. Being in the makeup community for YEARS, I've realized that I've become bored with what makeup companies have been selling. I want to try something NEW for a change. Am I the only one feeling like this?

Kind of... The last thing that blew my mind was UDPP/primers in general and adding a highlighter or contouring products to my routine. I'm slowly finding myself be pushed into skin care, but new brushes still pique my interest even if I have too many.

The latest thing has been liquid liners that have lash growing properties in them... But aside from that, I can see through most gimmicks not worth investing in. =/

You are not. I went out this weekend and looked online, I was so disappointed. It seems like the same stuff over and over and nothing that is new or unique. Even things that seem exciting tend to let me down when I actually use them.

You are not alone. After taking a long break from cosmetics due to health issues and getting back into the game now it seemed like I didn't miss much in regards to cutting edge products. The products that did amaze me are the UD primers and HD makeup. What really has made huge leaps is in the area of skincare. The advancement has been huge.....make-up not so much.
