I help animals. In any way that I can. If I see a dog on the side of the road wandering and usually with a collar, I will pick him up and find the owner - this has happened on 2 occasions. I have a lot of animals myself so my love for them just transcends to pretty much every animal. I'm a strict vegetarian for the last 6 years because of my infinite compassion for animals - and to me, that is an accomplishment. My accomplishments are more on the inner spiritual side rather than material. To some people that may not be much but that all depends on your point of view, right? lol

i made this topic because i think part of a persons beauty is their personal accomplishments and what makes them who they are and i think we tend to forget this side of beauty a lot!
i love all your posts!! its so interesting to see everyones different interests

Y'all might not think this an accomplishment, but it's pretty important to me. But I'm vegan. =] - It's not just a diet, it's a lifestyle. So no animal products in anything ever, makeup, clothing, food, brands that test on animals etc.

Other than that I'm not very accomplished outside of the beauty industry (even then, I'm nothing special haha). :( And I've only been vegan for a short time too. >__<

Erica H. - I LOL'd when I read yours!

I've skydived and made it out alive [almost unscathed, landing wasn't so smooth] and been hot-air ballooning... I would like to try cliff diving or swimming with sharks - in a cage - of course... It sounds ridiculous, but man, it'd be a great ice breaker at parties! =P

I would like to run a marathon one day [tough mudder!]... but I am far from that accomplishment according to how I hang in the gym. =/

My accomplishments mostly comprise of silly adventures I need to cross off my "bucket" list. Now that I'm older though - I don't take as many stupid risks as I used to... =(

I had a stroke in Utero, which cut off blood flow to my brain. My left frontal lobe got handed some serious injury. I didn't find out that this was the case until I was twelve. When I was six, I was diagnosed with ADHD, and when I was eight I was diagnosed with bipolar. I started taking pills when i was eight. I used to freak out all of the time. Like, litterally. I'd freak out because my mom would breathe too loud, or eat loudly. I would just go bonkers and throw things are hurt people. I didn't know how to deal with it. I went to the Utah State Hospital when I was twelve, which is where I got the diagnosis of Traumatic Brain Injury. I learned skills, and they perfected my pills (hey that rhymed!). I'm hunky dory now, but you wouldn't believe what a devil child I was then.
I currently go to the University of Utah and am hoping to get accepted into the Architecture program! I'm fulfilling my dreams, which I never thought would happen. But I'm doing it. :)
I'm also writing a book called Morning Moon, and hope to get it published one day.
I have been a vegetarian for two and a half years!
I am a virgin. I know that may not seem like much of an accomplishment. But I'm saving myself for marriage. And that's a big deal. :)

Wow Amanda, that's an incredible story! I'm inspired by your positive outlook. xo

Oh my goodness Amanda, that's so fantastic and you are amazing for getting through that struggle!

Everyday is an accomplishment for me. Raising 3 children on my own, alone is an accomplishment.
