2 words....iPhone app!!!! Ohhhh how crazy my addiction would be if I could get one of those! As it stands right now, the site is awesome, but downloading pics from my iPhone is a hassle! I would love the ease of having the app right there on my phone! Thanks for always being so willing to hear us out! :-)

Btw I LOVE that u can see everyone's links in the bottom of each post! It looks much better than seeing annoying URL's after people write comments and things! Kudos! The site keeps getting better and better!

@althea An iPhone app is in the works...early next year! Also if you have an iPad we're in the App store already. :) This week we have better photo tagging and categorization launching plus icons for profile pics that will link to your other accts like Twitter.

First off I wanna say I love this website and it does continue to get better and better ,one suggestion would be lovely if you can add statuses since we are a community we can add whatevers on our mind about beauty products,styles,etc.

@althea We're adding icons connecting those accounts next to profile photos when people comment on profile and photo pages so people will stop asking for follows/subs and leaving their links all over there too. We really want people to be here for the community and knowledge not for self promotion.

I'd love to see a better way of finding people to follow. Right now, the only way to do it is sifting through pictures and videos, or checking out the "featured" list. You ask us to fill in our hair color, eye color, skin color and type in our profiles, and it would be really helpful if we could find other people with those same attributes for advice or exchanging information on what works for us.

I would love the iphone app. Not sure how detailed it would be. My mother has the Ipad app and it is just for browsing..maybe logging in would be great as well. Not sure about the uploading of photos and videos but that can be a suggestion as well.

Sometimes there is only one big prize for someone to win on your contests and I think it would be nicer if more people could win something a little smaller. I know if I win something (rarely lol) it brightens my whole week no matter the size. Also I think polls on what the public thinks about certain issues would be interesting. I think it's so interesting to see how other woman like me feel about different things. Keep up the good work though!

I just want to start by saying that I absolutely love the Beautylish site and the community it attracts. It's easy to manoeuvre around and it has a very clean look.
There are a few things that I've noticed with the site that involve forum moderation/etiquette and possible technical additions:
-Sometimes someone will create an identical thread to an already active thread
-Occasionally someone will resurrect dead thread (+6 months old).
-The ability to upload/post a photo in the initial post of a thread.
-It would be nice to be able to select a photo from our already uploaded photos when we want to post a photo in the forum, add to a video we've uploaded or add to a review.

And also what Heather said about being able to select our photos already on our page and easily link them to forums.

I wish that in the products list, there could be like a separate search for "drugstore" and "high-end" products. And it'd be nice if the price would be included in the description of products so people don't have to find it in another site. I always research products that I want before I go shopping, just to see if it's worth getting and it would be a lot easier if the price was available on Beautylish.

I'm new to this site and I absolutely love it! The only suggestion that I have since I spend most of my days on my phone there should be a app for this. Also i notice that the IPad app does not allow you to logg in with your acct. (bummer). Other then that I love the set up of the website, the reviews and the comunity.

One other thing we're introducing this week is icons next to profile photos so there is no need to spam user walls with signature cards and links. We want to keep Beautylish free from lots of self promotion so hopefully this will help. Existing links people have left will be removed to help discourage others from leaving them as well.

I would like for us to be able to link photos in threads VS being limited to having to save a photo just to upload it to a thread for referrence like how blogger does... It would def. save us from having to link credits when we use them if the source was linked, instead of "stealing" it to upload.
Maybe a pen-pal section to help network and facilitate swaps or shopping meet-ups? Haha... Maybe we can organize a BL flash mob that way... =P
As for now, that's all I can think of. That last roll-out of updates def. made me a happy camper!

I would love a space for those who just got into makeup to shine if that makes sence...
be able to expand and who knows make beautylish even bigger, how about more languages, I bet thats one of the reason some people don't know beautylish.

I would say a area in the talk section for frequently asked questions/topics...like a archive type thing so that things dont get repeated over and over again....i was on yesterday in the skincare section and there were like 4 topics with the exact same name back to back....i know different people can have different questions about the same thing but if there was a archive area inside of skincare then people could just go there if they have a acne prone skin and see what people have already said and possible find their answer...just a thot...otherwise i love the site love the new changes it looks amazing
