Have any of you tried Crown makeup brushes, the individual ones (and from what line?). If so, would you recommend them? I need to build my collection of makeup brushes and Crown brushes are really cheap, but are they even worth buying? I don't hear many reviews on them so I'm not sure if I should purchase them or not.

i bought a number of make up brushes from crown the last time i was at imats and they're pretty okay quality. i couldn't tell you from which line they were, but they're great starter brushes and they won't break the bank, either!

I've bought quite a few crown brushes and I love them!!! They are so cheap to buy but they are amazing quality! You'd think that a brush that cheap would fall apart but some of my brushes i've used everyday for the past couple years and they are still going strong! I really recommend them!

Omg my favourite we shadow brushes ever ever are from crown brushes. You cannot imagine how much of a difference they have made to my life. I use the badger line I think and cannot wait till imats in London to stock up on more, I shall be getting back ups because I know it's such a good investment! I actually am getting passionate here but seriously loved it. BUT I did get a brush from another line they have ( black handle and black bristles) for my cheeks and te bristles were rough and the black dye came off on my face! I was thinking wait a minute.. So I don't think all their lines are amazing xx
Check my blog out if you get a chance

i have 2 sets from them and I love their brushes! very soft and the bristles dont fray! i use them in a lot of my makeup tutorials if you want to see what they look like. I also like that they have a lot of variety in shapes and sizes. I get mine on hautelook.com when they go on sale. my channel is http://www.youtube.com/jaclynsmyname (:

Crown brushes are kind of hit or miss to me. I can't even say that one whole line is amazing because sometimes different brushes from the same line will feel completely different. I love the Italian Badger Deluxe Oval Shadow brush but I HATE the Deluxe Crease brush. I think you can't really go too wrong with the Studio Pro Line though

I think it it depends on what you use them for as well. I received them in my kit for school and a lot of them have fallen apart. Their cheap, which is great for FX makeup because you can abuse them and not feel badly, but for beauty, they aren't my favourite.
If you're not washing them daily, then they're great starter brushes, but in general they're not durable.

I have lip brushes from them with a silver handle that are great. But they hold a lot of color so you have to wash them to keep them from staining. And the flat bronzer brush is AWESOME. I'm going to order a few more for my makeup kit. I got mines at The Makeup Show last year.
