I honestly know that you didn't mean it in a bad way but the wording makes it seem that way. I am Mexican but since I'm way light I get called other races and I don't necessarily say "ew I don't want to look like so and so" maybe saying darker would've been better haha. As to your question I love the purple on you. The blonde is pretty cute but if you want to look lighter definitely purple.

I think/hope this is just a case of the grass being greener on the other side, which we can all relate to in some aspect of our lives. My great grandmother dyed her hair red until the day she dies because, "Gray hair is beautiful...on other people." As far as which looks better, I think maybe a warmer color of that blond? You are pretty either way IMHO!
