I've found a couple of amazing products if you don't want to have to pile on a super heavy foundation just to stop the shine: http://kimpantsmakeup.blogspot.co.uk/2013/08/the-perfect-primer-and-foundation-for.html?m=1
I'm in love!

Awesome info! Thanks, Kim! Do you think Calico would work for cool tones, too, or is there another shade that would work better? Xo.

Thanks, Kim, for the review! I was actually looking at their primer, but decided not to get it. I think I'll give it a go next time! My Nyx Pore Filler primer is poopy lol It's making my foundation to do that sinks-into-pores-melts-off-everywhere-else phase. It's embarrassing, but luckily I work at a retirement home and no one can tell! ;P

I think it would be alright. I don't think it would look too 'warm' but it may look slightly grey/dead if you naturally have a lot of pink in your skin. I always thought I was cool, but my hair and eyes are warm and it all got very confusing but I've settled on my skin being pretty neutral. Especially seeing as this foundation almost looks grey and it's the perfect colour for me lol. The colour it looks in the bottle in the pic I posted is a pretty good representation of the actual colour so that may help you to decide :)

That's awesome but keep in mind ladies when it comes to foundations and primers you want to stay within the same family! Not all primers from Mac work well with other brand foundations and vise versa. For instance Mac primers are mad to work with Mac foundations to give you a particular look. If you don't follow the steps you will not achieve the look your going for! Think of it like proactive if you use proactive wash and then use ambi lotion your skin will never clear up as much as if you followed the proactive steps!

Great review! don't think I've ever tried no7 products. I usually walk straight past them as I thought theyd be a bit pants as an own brand but you have swayed me otherwise!
