Do you have a foundation that you have that's lighter or darker? If so take it with you to shop for one and knowing that the foundation is too light or too dark, you can tell how many shades it needs to be darker or lighter.

Go into the store and try the testers! Not on your face of course, but applying aome on your neck up to your jawline will help, always make sure your face matches your neck.
