How to dye hair??

So I saw a thread a while ago and it said that you girls just dye your hair on yourselves, I've never done that, so any tips? And what is the best product that doesn't damage too much your hair??

A good tip is that when your done putting the color in your hair, take a sponge and start removing the color thats on your skin and ears cause its hard to get of after wards.
And start from the roods and take the edge all around and then work out into the hair :)

Box dyes are the hair dyes you can buy at stores like target. It's a hair dying kit that comes in a box. If you put Vaseline on your skin before dying it, it won't stain. Also, if you use a box dye, do a lot of research on the brand and color so you know what to expect for the outcome

I don't really see such a big problem with box dyes. if you buy the dye from a good company and follow the instructions you would be just fine :) just don't change your hair color too drastically with it and most importantly don't lighten it more than 2 shades at home.

I see nothing wrong with boxes hair she's. I've actually probably tries every brand of hair dye that drug stores offer. I've gone from dark red to light blonde. As long as you're careful there's really nothin wrong from using boxed hair dye. :)

I've always used box dyes too and it's been fine for me. First time I ever dyed my hair I did it by myself and went from blonde to black :)
