I use Not Your Mother's and I absolutely love it! I've compared to other ones like Tressemme and Herbal essense, and I've stuck with Not Your Mothers because it keeps my hair straighter for two or three days, without needing me to re straighten it. I can't say the same for other brands...

I put my flat iron on the highest setting because I have really thick hair! it takes forever to straighten!

I have crazy thick hair so I have mine set to 450 (high I know!) and I use garner fructise but I think I'm going to switch because it smells awful while it's hot. I used to use got2b but it make my hair really sticky

I honestly don't even use anything that is just meant to be a heat protectant anymore. I use basically the whole line of "It's a 10" products and the leave in conditioner and the shine spray and the styling oil all say the protect against heat damage and I always have at least one or two of those in my hair when I use heat on it.
