You should cut your tips. only way they will be completly gone.

Split ends don't go away unless you cut them completely off. If you don't cut them they continue to climb up the hair shaft until you do. Using products will only protect and soften your hair. Not mend them.

Get a trim. otherwise they'll get worse & you'll have to cut more. nothing fixes split ends.

Agreed. The only cure is a trim. Then a focus on prevention.

I should go bald then lol... I dnt want to trim it my hair is kinda long I want it yo get to my hips.... oh and does the coconut oil make my hair thick?

Tania, if you won t cut them, these ends will split higher and higher so that when hair will be hips long, you,ll have to cut a lot. Try maybe 2 inches now, another 2 in 3 months so that it won t be so dramatic. And you risk to get very dry hair because all the nutrients will be sent to those damaged ends. And no, coconut oil won t make it thicket, just stronger and less dry:-)

You just need to trim them off.

I trim my spilt ends at home, I don't think I've had my hair cut professionally in about two years, you just have to cut them all off because they aren't going to get better, they will just keep splitting more. All those products that claim to repair spilt ends don't work, they can help to keep them from happening as soon but they won't stick the ends of the hair back together. I trim all my split ends off every month, I just go through each layer and trim about 1/2cm off most of the time so it isn't even noticible.

I have to say that consider home trimming a bad idea if you are not a pro because of 2 reasons -> scissors should be made from a proper metal alloy and hair must be cut from a certain angle not to split again soon and -> not everyone has a good sight to cut perfect lines/ shapes:-)

You cannot repair splits ends! Get it cut, get regular trims, and use good products to take care of it.

You have to trim them Off. Its the only way. Also hairs with the end split doesn't grow. So trim the tips just with a professional, then take care of it. It will grow faster, damage hair doesn't grow.
