I'm undecided to buy clarisonic or personal microderm to treat my large pores, which one is better?? Any suggestions?

There is no way to make pores smaller unfortunately. You can only reduce the appearance of them temporarily. The product Aisha posted works great. The thing to know is those type of pore minimizing products only slightly irritated the skin, causing pores to swell making them appear smaller (source: Bobbi Brown Makeup Manuel)

Both of your suggestions are great.. I use the clarisonic and It works alright at treating pores.. It just makes your face really clean, in my opinion.. But the personal microdermabrasion is kinda expensive and scary because you have to be very careful or it will leave nasty marks on your face.

I would most definitely get the Clarisonic, you can get rid of large pores but the Clarisonic will make them appear smaller. I also do love the Benefit Primer that others posted, but that is just going to help when you do your makeup, not remove the large pores. I also recommend using a face mask, like Freemans (cvs, walmart, walgreens, etc. and they are cheap) or Queen Helene's Mint Julep Mask, I know it helps my skin, I use about twice or three times a month, but since your having problems with your pores, I would try doing it once a week and see how it helps your skin. Also Avon has a really good Cleanser (I use the acne one to keep my skin clean) but they have a really good one for pores, not for sure on the exact name, but I believes its in a white and green bottle, just check out their website.

You can buy plenty of washes that reduce the look of pores, but I recommend st. Ives blemish control apricot scrub it reduces pores and blackheads (:

I recommend you get the clarisonic over the PMD. The PMD is too harsh on the skin and I've heard some awful horror stories. As for the Clarisonic, I recommend you get the most sensitive brush head there is and use it around 4 times per week. I used to use it every night but my dermatologist said it's slightly too harsh to use nightly. It should be used as an exfoliation tool.

Mineral powder will help minimise pores, on the other hand pressed powder will increase the look of pores. Try this mineral powder

And here is the one for pores and its is also on sale for $3.99... I have tried just about any acne cleanser you can buy, from cheap drugstore e to high end brands and so far Avon has been the best, I've been using for about a year now and thats saying a lot considering I use to purchase some acne wonder product every couple of weeks. Also these last me about 3-4 months with my Clarisonic.

St. Ives is now known for creating micro cuts in the skin, which I was surprised because I used to use St.Ives all the time, but I will never use them now because of the long term damaging effects they have...
