Its not really good for your skin hun it does dry the pimple but it also burns and dries out the surrounding skin

Does it really? I want to try it but I'm afraid it will make it worse!

Its much better to use a spot treatment specifically made for skin and just on the affected area.

I've heard about using toothpaste on pimples, if it works, I've never tried it.

Not a good idea.

I say nay. Old school toothpaste wasn't loaded with the chemicals of today's brands. Traci is right..a spot treatment is best. Neutrogena makes an excellent tinted one.

Too the paste may rid the pimple, but it is very harmful and will irritate your skin, you should use salicilic acid or benzoyle peroxide, those are too acne medications that prevent pimples.

Be careful if you have sensitive skin. I did it once and it slightly burned my skin.

Oh no!! Please keep the toothpaste for the teeth. You want to dry out acne? Spot treat with Mario Badsecu Drying Lotion for nighttime use and daytime reach for Mario Badsecu Drying Cream for daytime under your foundation or bb cream. Key word is spot treatment...do not apply over the entire face. Toothpaste is merely burning the surrounding skin and at some point the skin will rebound and react negatively. Salicylic acid is another great spot treatment (Murad Spot Treatment). All three that I mentioned can be found at ULTA.

I have always used toothpaste on acne on my back ( when I was a teenager) but in my face I stick with Clearasil benzoyl peroxide cream to spot treat.

I read an article on her a few months ago that said toothpaste doesn't actually work on pimples because the ingredient used in it that worked is no longer in toothpaste due to FDA regulations. I suggest a spot treatment or a crushed aspirin with a few drops of water to form a paste, or the liquid from Advil liquid gels. (Personally the only thing that works for me is water, regularly washing my face and sleep)

Doesn't work for me
my skin likes to take its own few days to heal and get rid of stuff. then again my skin is too sensitive to facial wash and scrubs too
so it depends on the skin type. so toothpaste is a no no for me personally
