School debate outfit?

Hey girls!
I'm in high school and we have this debate coming up for my public speaking course. My teacher said we have to dress formally for this like something you would wear to a interview. It's going to be really cold that day and I don't like to show my legs. If you have any idea of what I should wear please comment and a picture would be helpful! Thanks!

Wear a sophisticated pants suit if you want to go all out, or slacks with a formal blouse. :) I loved being in debate, and appearance needs to make a good impression.

I debate, and while all the outfits that people suggested are super cute, they are inappropriate for a formal debate. Wear a structured blazer in a neutral color with either a pencil skirt and tights or dress pants. Heel would be the best. Good luck :)
