You're really not supposed to but talk to your doctor.

I've heard that it can make you more sensitive to the sun but I've tanned while using it and didn't have any issues. If you're new to retinol it would be good to use it for a couple of weeks before tanning- if your skin peels and is irritated then I probably wouldn't tan.

You probably shouldn't because it makes your skin very sensitive but if you do tan then use a strong spf.

Kelsey & Shauna are right.
The retinol is a strong medication that can cause the skin to become more sensitive, peel, and become red. A lot of times dermatologists even advise against getting your eyebrows or facial hair waxed while you're using retinol because it may rip off a thin layer of skin, OUCH! You probably shouldn't go tanning with it, as a matter of fact, my derm told me to be sure to use an extra layer of sunscreen on my face because the retinol gives you a higher chance of burning.
Be careful! :) If you have anymore retinol questions, feel free to ask me. :)

Technically, yes, you CAN, but only if you want to be in some serious pain!
