I have had frizzy hair for as long as i can remember. It's especially frizzy in the front, where it's also shorter and never seems to grow along with the rest of my hair. I don't know what to do without making my hair look greasy either because it is also not the thickest hair but not the finest either. Any advice or cheap hair products that actually work? I never really use heat on my hair because that seems to make it worse. Thanks for any help!

I would never suggest relaxing it or anything like that. I have curly hair that is very frizzy, even when I use a flat iron. I use the Wen hair care system, it's pricey, but also super amazing. As well as Argon oil, just before flat ironing my hair. Gets rid of the frizz super easy. Hope this helps!

I have big big curly hair, at their natural state completely frizzy and dry. I have been using for one year now indian coconut oil or almond oil for my hair as a pre shower treatement. You warm up the oil, massage your scalp for sometime, then wrap a towel around the hair to keep it warm, leave it in either for a couple of hours or for a whole night, next day rinse it well with shampoo and then apply conditioner. It worked magics on my hair, it's never frizzy anymore, always smooth, nice looking ( I get many compliments on my hair) and detangled =)

@Deanna... I tried a relaxer once and it destroyed my hair. That was when I decided I was going natural and here we are 3 years later... it's easier just to straighten it but i don't want to do damage to my hair everyday.
@Giulia thanks! I've actually been using coconut oil, but I put it in my conditioner and rinse it out before i get out of the shower. But I will try it your way and see what happens... thank you again!

try a liquid leave in conditioner, it's not as heavy on your hair, i use the healthy sexy hair one and it's a liquid but it's still very moisturizing

I'd suggest using a deep conditioner and a shower cap to lock in the moisture. After 3-5 minutes, rinse the deep conditioner twice (once with warm water and once with cold water). Then towel dry your hair and use a hair clip to keep the shorter hair in place. Hope these tips are helpful :)
