i dont think so. I tried to used lipgloss before to apply glitter but it seemed too greasy and it moved too much while blinking etc. It was also harder to remove. I did not try the MAC gloss you are speaking of but I assume they all work the same.

You can buy glitter adhesive from Sally's for 99 cents! It's just a clear gel you can put right over your eyeshadow that glitter adheres to, and it doesn't move!

You could use eyelash adhesive, it dries clear and it holds glitter ALL night.

Fyrinnae's Pixie Epoxy is what I use. It's also great for foiling shadows. And it's only $7 for a really nice sized tube.
