Hi everyone :)

So I love my hair colour and I don't want to change the whole lot but I do fancy trying something new and this dip dying lark looks interesting so I have two questions.

1. what colour would look best in contrast with my hair colour? (I'm a fiery ginger/red head :P)

2. Does anyone know of any tutorials on how to box dip dye yourself?

I don't have a tutorial, but I think that a dark chestnut would really pop against your hair.

Hi, well I was a red head once too. I think the best color for contrast with red would be yellow, gold o brass. You basically only have to put some bleach on your ends, and depending of what color comes up, dye the color that you want on top. You should bleach before you choose the color, because it important for you to know what color will come up to see what you’re working with. This coming from a 5 year red head that tried to just go blonde haha. You can also just buy al highlighter package and use that, it brings the beach and the color, but find one for red hair, i used one a couple years ago but I don’t know it the still sell it was made by palette in bronce. This is how it came out. bronce. This is how it came out. It’t very subtle because that is what I want it, it’s the yellow on my bangs.

Thanks for all the advice, i choose to go darker and put a medium brown on, it looks really nice although it seems really dark in contrast with the rest of my hair, I'm guessing it will wash out a lighter colour, and i don't think it will be a permanent look :)

yes I agree with you sometimes going aginst the grain red head to blonde u end up green and need color correcting good choice
