Hi, I'm quite new to using heated rollers and could do with some tips if anyone can help?
I've watched countless tutorials in YouTube but mine never comes out right or if it does it won't stay. I've been using heat protection spray and mousse and hairspray to finish, but the curls fall out so quickly. Any tips?
Also should I be using the biggest rollers on the top and front?
Finally I keep getting a line dent in the front if my hair where the rollers / clip has been, how can I avoid that?
Thanks so much! X

If its not working for you, don't bother using it. I would just use a curling iron, its faster & gets the job done. Those heated rollers are time consuming & get on my nerves, I've used it before & the curls flatten within minutes.

Agree with Mary, curling iron/wand is the way forward. I've got fine hair that will not curl for more than 2 minutes in rollers but I use a yogi wand and the curl stays in all night :)

Thanks guys, I've got GHD's straighteners which are easy to curl with but I liked the retro feel / look with heated rollers, maybe it's not meant to be!

What heat settings are you using? If you're using a lower setting you may need to turn it up.

Use the biggest on the crown for volume and most curl. Make sure that you wait till they are complete cooled and also brush them out and use a heavier hold spray
