What it a perm does is break the bonds of your hair... When youre getting a perm the last step is to neutralize it... Which means reforms & rebuilds the hair in the shape of the curls... if you try to add any more chemicals... Itll fizzle away... At least in all my experiences.

You can straighten it out, but remember that your hair will be very damaged from the process it's been through. If you decide the straighter make sure you use a heat protectant and a treatment at least once a week.. Otherwise you'll have to wait a few months to grow it out.

My mom told me pert shampoo takes it out. She had a perm one time and she was using that shampoo and I guess there's something in the ingredients that makes it go away. But I don't know that was more than 20 years ago.
