Go on YouTube and type in "yayalifestyle heat free curls" you'll see a bunch of her heat free curl videos! She's amazing and I've done her sock curls and it turned out super well! :)

Once you get out of the shower, wind and twist your hair into a bun. Sleep with the bun and pull it out in the morning! But before, brush your hair really well because you can't brush your hair the next day. Also try putting hairspray in the bun while its wet!

Lol I was just about to say what layla said :)
but,I know another trick-use an old shirt,or something like that, and cut a ten centimeters long and three-two and a half centimeters wide strips, and than, make a cut in the middle of each one, long about one third of strip length.than, with hair that is about 60-70% wet, separate it into pieces that can go trough the cut you just made on shirt strips.than, you are going to take a small hair section and pull it trough one of the strips and grab strip ends, than keep on rolling them towards your had.your hair is also going to roll up with strips.and when you reach your hair roots/had,you just tie a LOOSE knot with two strip ends, and then you wait for your hair to dry,or you can simple sleep on it...
WARNING:this will give you tiny tainy little curls that can last for up to three days, but, since my hair is really 'listening' to me and has a good amount of volume for itself,I got an afro hair, even tough it was a bit under my shoulders length...so,with normal hair, you can expect to get Beyonce curls or so...good luck, hope I explained it to you well
