Does anybody have any tips on how to do a sock bun with slightly layered, thick hair? I have so much hair and it's straight/wavy, it constantly falls out. I either need practice or I'm doing it wrong. 😔 please help!

Try putting a little product in the lengths of your hair to give it some grip, so it's less slippery. I like using the tresseme dry shampoo to add texture and grip (but I don't recommend it as an actual dry shampoo lol)

I have really long layered hair. The only thing that works for me is starting the bun at the tips of my hair and tucking in my hair as I work the sock all the way down. You'll get a bigger bun that holds all day.

Each time a piece falls out tuck it in as you roll :) it's what I do because I use to have layered hair and I still have a few layered pieces.

Lather it in hair spray or wax and try rollinh it up like breyana said, instead of just sliding it on your pony tail.
